A Description of Our Temple
We want to build a Carpathian style temple that is in accordance with the traditions handed down to us. We aim to construct a modestly sized building around 500 sqft. We intend to use the building for prayer, fellowship, and education. As the most Holy Theotokos carried our infinite God in her womb, we aim to encounter God in a small and humble place where heaven meets earth. In many churches the scenes of angelic ranks, saints, and scenes from scripture are often distant. In our tradition of iconography, these saints and scenes from scripture are fully present to us, and our efforts in decorating the church will make it possible for anyone to grasp the communion of saints and salvation.
